Budu oponovat, protože mi není známo , že by část z 1115 kusů R 200 BRM měla jiný výkon, než 107kw. V letech 1998-1999 to byla nejvýkonnější verze K series, Trophy 118kw začala až v roce 2001.
Kdo trochu vládne AJ, tady má něco dat......:
BRM, the marque that took Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart to countless Grand Prix victories (including the World Championship) is back in partnership with Rover to produce the Rover 200 BRM Limited Edition.
Based on the sporty Rover 200vi, the BRM features a host of modifications including a unique interior, racing suspension and drive train.
Visually the Rover 200 BRM LE certainly looks the part. From the orange 'snout', an insert in the airdam, to the wire mesh grill, this is a car that looks like no other on the road today. Inside, the red leather and brushed alloy fittings echo the BRM's sporting heritage.
However, the true worth of any car sporting the famous BRM badge is only discovered when your behind the wheel. Designed as it is with engineering excellence and effortless driving as paramount, the BRM is powered by Rover's famous 1.8 litre VVC K-Series engine - the one that can accelerate from 0-60 in less than 8 seconds.
The engine, thanks to Variable Valve Control and revised close ratio gearbox is a thoroughbred that offers a real lift when accelerating.
Ride and handling haven't been ignored either. Revised springs and dampers result in a lower than normal ride height, stiffer suspension and superb cornering ability.
The braking system has also been modified resulting in a more responsive pedal feel.
All these improvements give the Rover 200 BRM LE the sheer physical ability to match its superd appearance.
So don't be misled, this is a high performance car for grown ups, not boy racers. After all, the last time we collaborated, the Rover BRM went on to be the first British car home at Le Mans.
